Orrin and Vivin are 4!!

We have partied for the past 2 days. With twins that is legal right.
Yesterday we had a fun party at the church with most of our family. The boys are really into super hero's right now, so the cake of choice was Spider-Man! We had tables with balloons set up on the stage and the kids played games in the gym. It was perfect.

My Birthday boy Orrin don't mind that I can't take a good pic errrr

My birthday boy Vivin

Orrin was such a little sneak! While everyone was singing Happy Birthday, he was busy licking the frosting off his side of the cake.
This picture makes me laugh. Vivin was having a hard time getting his air to blow in the right direction so I was trying to help, it wasn't until I saw this pic that I realized Tallon was helping too. What a sweet brother.
Check out the group of cousins that were on hand to celebrate with us!
Our most favorite friends!!! Tytan, Holt, Clancy, Carter, Anna, Rocky and Kellen, Evie, and Tallon

Opening presents was a blast! Everyone got in on it and we had paper going everywhere. I don't know if the boys knew what was theirs and who it came from, but they LOVED it. Thanks for all the fun everyone.

Sadly we had a few family members who weren't able to celebrate with us yesterday. But it was easily fixed with another cake and a trip to Grandma Thelma's tonight. This worked great because ToDaY is their Birthday!!!
Aunt Jessie and Baby Walter gave the boys these cool coloring pages! They were definitely the hit of the party.

Do you love their new cowboy hats!! Hopefully these fare better than their old ones.

Best part of the night for me was knowing that we were done partying and getting to love on this little chunk. What a cutie Walter is.
Happy Birthday my babies! I can't believe it has been 4 years! They have been hard, full of adventure and very rewarding. How we love you and are so thankful you are a part of our family!!

One Step Closer to his Black Belt

Okay, we probably have a lot more steps, but it is cool to think that in a few short years Tallon will be a black belt!
Tallon tested for his last time as a "Tiny Tiger" and did awesome. This kid has some serious skill in this sport of Taekwondo.

Self Defense part of testing

Breaking the board, basically they are just showing off for the parents :)

The best part of Taekwondo is getting to do it with some of our best friends.

Tallon taking off his Yellow belt and being awarded his Camo

With earning his Camo belt he actually graduates into the higher classes where he gets to do some sparing and he gets to join the Black Belt club where they learn more of the "movie" type of moves and they get to learn some of the weapons. Needless to say he is really excited!

Great job buddy! Here's to hoping your mommy handles it well the first time she sees another kid kick you in the head!

Sunshine Sweet Sunshine

When the sun shines like it did today, you don't stay inside. We bundled all the kids up, strapped on the snow shoes, and told them to go play.

It was the first time in months that the sun had warmth. We sat watching the kids play and soaked it all in. Happy children playing outside = happy parents.

My drips playing in the drip

Ty got the four-wheeler out to play...
which of course led to getting stuck...
which led to getting another toy out...
which led to smiles...
which led to one machine pulling another out.

A funny story goes with this one: Vivin was pretending that he was fishing in the mud puddle. He kept throwing snow (food) into the puddle and telling his fish to come and eat. He grabs a big chunk of snow and says "You need lots of girls to play with fish. Here you go, now you have lots of girls." Too funny
What is a nice sunny day without jumping in mud puddles!

Did I mention that something special is happening this weekend for these two?!

Yep, you guessed it. We are going to be partying all weekend!
Van got to have his first four-wheeler ride. He loved it. It is going to be a really fun summer with this little one.

Trying to get a reaction out of mommy. Fortunately, I have been a mommy long enough to little boys with a daddy that tries to get a reaction that I am now not full of many reactions.
I had to throw one in of our "princess" (that is what the boys call her) for her mommy

We played until clothes were soaked, noses were red, and kids were ornery. Then we napped. Oh how they napped. It made for a late night but it was worth it.
Could we have asked for a more perfect spring day? I think not.
