What will they think of next

Tallons class earned a class party and they chose to do "Fake Injury" day. He woke up extra early (about 6am to be exact) so that he and Tyler would have lots of time to get him ready. The two of them giggled the entire time they were drawing, wrapping and bandaging.

The end result was 2 nasty bloody scars on the face, a broken head and arm, and a gun shot wound in the leg. (the swollen check is from a "real" injury so that didn't count)

What ever happened to the boring book party, or the lazy pj party, or the famous extra recess. I guess we are just a bit old fashioned. One thing is sure, Fake Injury day was the best!!

Not Tallon too?!?!

A sore tooth can be a H*** of a thing to deal with...

but nothing that a day home from school, get to stay in your pjs all day and hunt wild animals with your shotgun, and a Big A is hot hat can't fix.

Can January please be over, I don't think we can stand one more dentist visit!!

Vivin's Protest

Seriously he looks cute enough, but when you have been tying to patiently put him to bed for over 20 mins and this is as far as you get, he can be a bit annoying.

Searching for JELLO

Does anyone else every find their children like this right before dinner?!

Please excuse the messy fridge, one day it might be on my priority list to clean, but I wouldn't count on it.

Snowshoeing with Dad

Today Ty and Tallon finally got to go snowshoeing! There really isn't enough snow to justify snowshoes but oh well. They only had a few hours so they ventured up Swift Creek and had a great time.

Tallon has grown out of his shoes so he decided to try mine out, they might still be a bit big but they worked.

The highlight of the day was finding this weasel hole. They watched it for a good 20 mins and it kept poking his head in and out. Tallon was pretty upset that Tyler wouldn't just shot it so he got to hear the "we don't have to shot everything we see" speech,...he wasn't impressed.

Hopefully the doctors give the "all clear" in a few weeks so I don't have to hear about their adventures, I will actually be able to be part of them again.

a time out

We took a few hours out of our day today and took the kids behind the Ranger. We don't have a lot of snow this year, which makes me really glad we have the Ranger and not snow machines! The twins are finally big enough to enjoy the effect of being pulled behind in the sled, which they just loved! Tallon invited Ridge to go with us and they just had a ball. Here are some of the highlights. (Vivin is in the yellow scarf)

The best part of all was the naps that followed.

My turn

The house was wwaaayyyy to quiet, something was missing. After close examination it was discovered that Vivin was no where to be found. Even closer examination showed that Tyler was also missing. Could mean only one thing. Gun Room

How well do I know these two. I was quickly told by sweet Vivin that it was his turn to be with dad in his room and I was not invited, so get out. Seriously I am so out numbered.

Sweet Relief

Came down with a killer of a toothache last Wednesday. It has been a long week. Just got back from the dentist. Being poked with a needle never felt so good.

Baby Update

We had our 19 week appointment this afternoon. It is crazy to think that we are half way done!! The ultrasound showed that baby #4 is doing great. It was active the entire time which made for some fun trying to get all of the measurements and things that the doctors need. We once again have placenta previa, so we will be going back in a month for another ultrasound. One good thing about problems is that you get to see your baby a lot! The doctor didn't really get a good look as to what the sex of the baby is, she made a really good guess but cautioned us not to go out and buy anything until our next visit in a month. But we already have everything in BLUE so it think our checkbook is safe, at least for now.

Cabelas!!

Cabelas is Tallons most favorite place on earth. He has been begging all Christmas break to have us take him down so he could spend some of his Christmas money from Grandparents. Well yesterday we woke up and decided that today was the day to do it, so off we went. The boys traveled so good which is always a pleasant surprise. We got to Lehi late so we just ordered some pizza and went swimming. Here is Tallon and Orrin looking oh so cute in their swim suits.

Vivins protest to having to go to bed.

Today we headed to Cabelas bright and early. The boys loved loved loved the animals. They ran from one thing to the other and chattered about everything they saw.

Me with my handsome boys.

Tallon with his sweet find of a coon skin cap.

Enjoying the fish.

It really was a great way to welcome in the New Year. We had so much fun and the boys were so excited about their little treasures that they found. Just think the next time we go we will have 4 little ones, oh the thought makes me tired.
