Quick Tells

Everyone is always asking how I tell the twins apart. Well here it is.
Orrin

Vivin

It is true, their cowlicks are the key. When they were 2 months old I said a desperate prayer for the key of telling them apart. Vivin was loosing his redness and I was so afraid of getting them confused. My prayer was answered while combing their hair. Orrin has one and Vivin has two. If I am holding one of them and someone asks who I have I look at the back of their heads and then I know. Everyone thinks I am crazy, but it works. So there you have it.

Shootin with the Boys

This morning I looked out the window to see Tallon, Brixton, and Bridger in the back yard shooting the BB gun. They had Tyler help them with a target and pulled up some chairs and were in heaven!! (yes Tallon is a lefty when he shoots, he gets it from his mother!)

They would shoot and then all run up to see where it hit. It was so funny watching them.

They stayed entertained for a good hour or so and then they were off to destroy something. It could prove to be an interesting summer if BB guns are in the mix!!

Ranger Ride!!

Today the day was nice enough that we gathered Granddad and Brynja up and went for a ranger ride. We left from Granddads and went up Grover Park and practiced shooting down trees, we are a weird bunch aren't we.

Tallon just got his own BB gun and is loving it.

He can shoot with the big boys and is right on target!!

It was a really fun day. There were still a few drifts that we had to plow through and the twins squealed the whole ride. Summer is on its way!!

A Day At The Zoo

Today the twins had a check up with their doctors in Idaho Falls. It is amazing how much they have grown and progressed in the past year. Since we were there anyway, we decided to take the boys to the zoo and make a day of it. The twins loved the ducks and anything they could spot through the fences. Tallon just loves the zoo. It doesn't matter what he is looking at, he loves it all.

Vivin is the one with his finger up his nose. I don't know why but this seems to be his thing. I guess he needs to make sure that we know who is who!

Restful Sleep?!?!?!

I personally couldn't get any sleep if I slept like the twins do, but it seems to work for them.

They are so funny in the mornings. We never know what to expect when we peek in the crib. Tyler thinks it is time to put them in their own cribs, but I am standing my ground for a bit longer. It breaks my heart to not have them close by each other when they sleep.

GROSS!!

Tyler and Tallon went potgut hunting today with Jay. Tallon was in heaven!!! They took the ranger and played in the nasty sticky mud (i am not trying to sound like a girl here, it was nasty mud)and shot at potguts when they could find them, what little boy could ask for more!!

When they came home Tallon was telling stories about 90 miles an hour and finally grabbed the camera and said "Look at the fun we had!!" My reaction was just what he was looking for "GROSS!!!" He laughed and laughed, and was so proud of his trophy. Oh, the sense of humor, that makes my life, a life full of little boys!!

Bum Lambs

The twins are just rotten when it come to holding their own bottles. We have spoiled them for so long that they refuse to hold the bottles themselves, so usually Tallon will do it for them. But I guess what ever works will work!!

Well, today all of Tallon's practice paid off!! We went out to the Jensen ranch and fed the bum lambs and no one had to tell Tallon how to do it!!! We had so much fun.

Our friends, the Greene's, came with us and Tallon and Raf had just as much fun riding the little four wheeler as they did feeding the lambs.

We had a great time. After we all got cleaned up we went to Burger King and played for a while longer. When we get the kids together they beg for more time to play. It was a great day with our friends!!

Oh to be a Twin!!

If you are a twin you always have someone to sit by! Here are some random times when they are just too cute!!





The boys are getting so fun. They love to do everything together and are the best of friends!!

Do you Like!??!

Tallon comes up with some of the greatest things, and this is at the top! He was asked to go get ready so we could go to the store and this is how he came out!!

I especially like the long johns under the shorts. Since we discovered cowboy boots we have wore nothing else, and heaven forbid going some where without our hat and gloves. Sometimes things just aren't worth fighting over, so this is how we went to town. He got some good looks and a lot of compliments!!

A Sunny Spring Day

Our favorite thing about spring time is the warm, sunny days. We always try to fit in a few coasting days when the sun comes out, and today was one of those days!! This is the first year that Tallon was able to really get into it. He had a blast. He didn't like having to climb up the hill much, and eventually talked Grandpa into coming down with the snowmobile to pull him back up.

Uncle Jacob and Uncle Jace even came to enjoy the day with Tallon. They went down the hill some many times, Tallon says it was "more than we can even count" it was so much.

It is a good feeling knowing that summer will soon be here, but until then it is great to have a little sun, so we can still have fun in the snow!!

The BIG tub

Tonight the boys bathed in the big tub and had a ball!!! They are so cute standing here waiting for the tub to fill.

They have the cutest little butts I have ever seen!!

They were a little unsure about what to do until dad got the toys out and then we had water going everywhere. They would stop playing and look up at Tyler to see if they were doing it right, it was to cute.

Orrin is on the left in all the pictures with Vivin (of course) on the right. It is so fun to see them getting big. Oh, the fun the next year holds for us!!

Happy 1st Birthday you 2!!

Hard to believe that we made it to this day! The twins turned one yesterday and we celebrated with friends and family today.

Birthday Twins!!

Tallon gave them a cool Leap Frog toy. The boys laughed and played with it all night.

Gifts from Mom and Dad.

Cake Time!! We were all so excited to see what they would do with their cakes. Tallon was right there encase they needed any advice. Here they are as we were singing happy birthday.

Tallon helping Orrin gain a bit of confidence. It has been so hard to get these two to not destroy the house while eating, so they didn't really know if it was safe or not to just dig in.

It didn't take long before the got what they were supposed to do. Here is Orrin enjoying his special treat.

Vivin poked around for a few mins but then he was all about handfuls.

One more of the birthday boys!

It is hard to put into words what these two special boys have added to our home. To go from 1 child to 3 has been eventful. They have brought so much laughter and happiness with them. Tallon has loved being a brother and Tyler and I have had our testimonies of prayer and faith strengthened so much. It hasn't always been easy but it has been worth EVERY minute. I can't imagine my life without these amazing little boys. Happy 1st Birthday Orrin and Vivin we LOVE you both so much!!

The big Zero is almost over

We are in Casper watching the state cheer competition. Brynja and the others did great! They took 2nd place this year, which is a big deal!! It has been fun being in a hotel with the kids and it is where these two angels will turn 1!!

Tomorrow is the big day!! It is fun to think back to a year ago, and know that we are past it and that we survived! So here is the last picture of the twins, as Tallon tells it, being zero!!

Practice Practice

Tallon has really been working on his coloring, he says it is his homework and it has to be done so good. It is funny to see him take his preschool so serious. He is so set on being the best colorer(?) and I think he has done it!!

Rub -A- Dub Dub...

One of the best parts of having twins is that even cute things are made double cute when there are 2. I am afraid that it is about time to go to the big tub (oh the messes they will be able to make).

My three boys!!

Some times I really have to step back and think "I have 3 boys!!!" Today was one of those days.

I am truly blessed, to see these three love each other so much, to see how they watch out for each other, and for the smiles they bring into our home and the love they have brought into my heart.

It had to be done!!

Orrin's hair is getting quite long on top, and for the past few days I have wondered what he would look like with a pigtail on top. Well today we found out that he is adorable no matter what!!

He is cute like this but we couldn't leave it for to long. Even seeing how cute he is with pigtail, I am soooooo glad we have all boys!!!

First Sled Ride

Today the sun was shinning, full of warmth, just perfect for taking the twins out for a sled ride. Tallon and I had them bundled and made at least 20 trips up and down the road. Vivin just snuggled into Orrin. They were just content to sit and be pulled, enjoying those good old sun rays.

They are just so dang cute. At one point I thought they would fall asleep, they waited just long enough to get them in the house and then they took the best nap. It is amazing what a little sunshine can do.

It's nice to have them big enough to go outside, even if it is only for a few mins. It is hard to believe that they are already 11 months. Soon they will be running around and into all kids of mischief!!

Valentines with the Greene's

Raf and Skylar brought some fun treats to share for Valentines Day. We got to decorate cookies and eat all of them!!



It is great having such great friends they love to share fun things with us.

Tighty Whities

The past few days the boys have been sporting the tighty whities look and I think it is so adorable!
