Nights at the Hansens

It all started a few weeks ago when Vivin decided that he was afraid of the dark. I really think it started with a bad dream and it turned into "I can't sleep unless I have my Daddy by my side". So Tyler, being the amazing father that he is, has spent the last few weeks sleeping on the floor of the twins' room. He would need to stay for about 1 hour and when the boys were good and asleep he would pry his aching body off the floor and find his way to bed.
After a few days it became more of a habit than a need and now it has developed into something really special. Each night when we say "Okay boys it's time for bed" Tyler is greeted with 4 loving arms and "Daddy you sleep with me?". They all go in and find their pillow, blankets, and spot on the floor. They spend a few minutes finding their toy for the night and talking about their day before they settle in and start the process of actually falling asleep.
Here is Orrin ready for the night

And sweet Vivin being Vivin, seriously everyone should have one.

The view of the room with everyone settled in for night. It really doesn't get anymore precious than this.

And to my absolute horror, Tallon and his sleeping buddy, RBK.

It really is a special bond that a father has with his sons. And as terrible as it is to admit, that a little boy has with his dog!
