And so IT begins!

Tyler and Tallon ventured out on the first duck hunt of the year and came home triumphant! The day was full of giggles and grins, and a small mishap with a primer. Needless to say we are buying good safety glasses before next weekends adventure. Thank goodness we didn't loose an eye!

Vivin taking his turn. He was fascinated with the darn thing. He kept petting it and saying "Hi, Duck!!"

Orrin is always a bit more cautious when it comes to dead things. He did hold it for a bit but enjoyed looking at it more from a distance.

I currently have duck meat soaking in my sink and tomorrow it will be made into some good old jerky. The season is off to a great start!
