After a busy morning of getting stuff done, we decided to take a few mins this afternoon for some quality bonding time, aka snowshoeing. Snowshoes for Christmas was an awesome idea. Tallon's old shoes had a bad habit of falling off which was really frustrating for everyone. Tallon is loving having new shoes. He helps with the twins and can put his own on, it is heaven.

Tallon decided the beaten path wasn't for him. He set his sights on the top of the hill and off he went. I love watching my boys off exploring.

Orrin and Vivin are up for trying anything Tallon does. Their legs are a tad shorter so it was a bit slow going but they loved climbing and seeing how high they could get.
It has been warm the past few days so we bundled Van up and took him for his first snowshoeing adventure. Poor little man has been feeling a bit down from getting shots yesterday at his appointment. He snuggled down and fell fast asleep.

Tyler taking a few mins and teaching his boys a thing or two. Orrin and Vivin told me they were following Wabbit Tracks.

It kills me that Tallon is getting so grown up. Look at him having a grown up conversation with his dad.
The tracks led to a picnic table but were lost underneath. Sneaky little rabbit.

But no worries, when you lose what you are hunting it leaves some time for playing.

Van woke up and loved that he was outside. Check out that smile.

You can tell he just doesn't feel right. Poor little thing. Even after some Tylenol he was only able to smile for a few mins before settling back in and resting. We took his temperature when we got home and it was 102.9! And that was after Tylenol. It made me feel bad that we had him out but he was okay and a little fresh air usually helps,...right?!
Tallon was standing there enjoying himself and Tyler leaned over and said "the kid looks like he belongs here", he does doesn't he.
Being the wonderful parents that we are we didn't make the boys put on snow pants. And being the adventurous little boys that they are they were soaked. So home we headed as soon as the sun started to go down.
Obviously their give a @&*% was busted

Making memories as a family in the great outdoors. That's what it's all about.
