I don't believe that Man's EVER Been to Medical School

This was seriously one of the funniest things EVER!
We were over at The Hansen's having FHE, just having a grand old time.
The kids were playing, the adults were having a great time catching up, and it was a perfect summer evening.
Who could ask for more.
Tallon came over limping a bit and complaining about his foot hurting, and upon examination we found a sliver.
I shouldn't say a sliver.
It was a humdinger of a sliver. At least 3/4 of an inch long, the bad boy could have even been pushin a inch long.
It was HUGE!!
So, being the wonderful parents that we are, we held our child down and prepared to dig it out.
Tallon started screaming like a dying animal! Seriously, if you were anywhere around you would have heard the death cry.
It started out somewhat under control, but the more people that came to witness the ordeal, the louder he got.
He was fine with Tyler using his pocket knife, but the sliver kept breaking off.
So then Tyler started telling him that he was going to have to get a razor blade to get it out.
Oh the cry that filled the air then.
We had to have Vinnie hold Tallon down because he was kicking and screaming so.
He was really putting on a good show.
Then it got dark so the good old head lamp had to come out.
So there we sat in the Hansen's back yard, Tallon screaming, Tyler preforming surgery, and the rest of us laughing hysterically and taking pictures.
What a loving family we are.
Tyler in deep concentration doing surgery. The tools used: a head lamp, needle, and razor blade.

Taylor showing us how long the sliver is. She's not kidding. (love Tallon's look of horror)

Vinnie was good support for Tallon and he was the only one big enough to hold him down.

At one point I did have a heart and tried to help the poor kid.

The surgery team: Abi, Aubrie, Ryder (you can tell he was a lot of help), and Shandi (her job was to keep Tyler from getting kicked in the face).

Dave was there to offer an opinion every now and then. Tallon never cared for Dave's ideas, considering they included bigger knives and things, I can't say that I blamed him.

Doesn't this look like a man you would trust to get a sliver out of your foot?!

Ah good times. Good times.
